So we are making some awesome progress on the front bedroom and the library... We've hired a gal (who we found on craigslist) to do the mud and wall texturing. She's taking her time, but is doing a seriously awesome and careful job.
Had to put plastic over the doors so we don't get too much mud dust all over the house... It's like they're under quarantine.
Kevin finished the stairs (for now... We want to put in some drawers in the stairs but that will have to wait). They look so beautiful, and with vertical grain (VG) Fir, they even fit the age of the house. And Kevin's favorite part? They even squeak like old stairs do! LOL!
Also, yesterday, Kevin got the tongue and groove put in under the stairs, so that looks much more finished as well.
Kevin is working on the door frame for the French doors today, and hopefully we'll be nearly finished with the mud today too, so we can prime and paint over the weekend!!! I'm seriously way too excited to finally go buy paint... And we decided we're going with actual Sherwin Williams, cause we want the rich original Craftsman colors... And want it to be long lasting. We'll see how much that costs...
